24 You tamed all things, wild around me. They all have doors for you to enter. Through their long windows you can see. On their short beds you can lay restless. They all have skin for you to touch. They all have words for you to listen. I seem so small, I seem so quiet Against this try of being near. They wait intact until you need, When you will lack, when you'll be longing. You tamed my things, when you tamed me. And I don't own them any longer.
